Our Mission

The team of Gleason Woodwork artisans endeavors to engineer, fabricate, finish and install the finest cabinets, furniture and architectural millwork in an environment that fosters skill, camaraderie and the satisfaction born of mutual respect between co-workers, design professionals and clients in the ultra high end residential market.

Gleason Woodwork was founded in 2002 by skilled craftsmen seeking an environment that would respect and value their skills, foster a cooperative atmosphere and offer the opportunity to produce the finest woodwork possible. This atmosphere has attracted other skilled union craftsmen and support staff such that we now number 18. We have the capability and capacity to handle the largest residential millwork projects for local and national clients, primarily located in Metropolitan Chicago, but also work spanning from Martha's Vineyard to Pacific Palisades.

Gleason Woodwork is a member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) at the local and national level. We produce our work to the highest standards of AWI as exemplified in their Architectural Woodwork Quality Standards Illustrated.

Gleason Woodwork strives to be a good citizen and conscious of our world by recycling what we can, donating shavings to a local stable, donating excess or scrap materials where possible, and donating time, treasure and talent to the Taller el Buen Samaritano, the carpentry program of the Fabretto Children's Foundation in Nicaragua.
